ZTE Unveils First Firefox OS smartphones

At the end of 2012 began to speak of the operating system that launched the Mozilla foundation people and it was expected to be an OS with a focus on emerging markets.
In the coming days Spanish ZTE launches the ZTE OPEN a low mid-range device that has as main feature being fitted with Firefox OS.
The smartphone will cost 69 euros and in addition to that, it comes with an opening balance of € 30 with a 4GB micro SD card so that the device ends up costing so expensive.
This is because people from Mozilla considers that only 21% of the world population can acquire high-end smartphones and therefore want to maximize a market that can become massive.
Regarding the device, the ZTE One features a 3.5-inch display that supports a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 512 MB of internal memory, 256 MB of RAM and a processor of 1 GHz Cortex A5.
The folks at Mozilla said in his blog that Firefox OS "includes all things that people need on your smartphone when out of the box: calls, messages, emails, camera and more." In addition, the device has the ability to use all social networks but as the big news is the absence of WhatsApp, probably the most sought application of the young and that in the presence of this app not Firefox OS is at a disadvantage.
Also its strongest point is the fact that it is made under the HTML5 platform, which gives the feeling that the operating system can grow much in the coming months.
